Hi:

I would like to report two incredible recent events involving our "hard-working & busy" OVPD.

I live across the street from the La Canada Post Office, and frequently have to mail mail packages, using the automated USPS machine, later in the evening. Frequently, I notice 2 or 3 OVPD black & white units parked, where they cannot be seen from the street, in the rear side parking lot. They always park side by side, with windows down, as if have a "chat session"... This is usually around 7:30pm to 7:45pm, where they remain for app. 1/2 hour, until finally tearing out toward the station house when the clock nears  8pm.  I've noticed this occurring frequently.

 Yes, I know, at least they're not issuing tickets, but what the heck ARE they doing??...... (Not busy enough?)

Also, recently this past week, around 10am, I was traveling down Oracle Road from Lambert to Linda Vista, and actually counted FOUR OVPD cars parked alongside Oracle; WITHIN 1/2 mile distance, exactly. !! Each with radar detector visible.

Four cars within a half-mile distance.

Is it possible that we have too many cops employed ??????.............
